Mission Statement
The mission of the Kent County Search and Rescue K9 Unit is to work with law enforcement in providing qualified, volunteer canine teams who save the lives of missing people as well as assist in bringing closure to families who have lost a loved one.
In providing qualified canine teams for searches, or goal is to have teams in each of the following canine disciplines:
- Scent Discriminating Trailing (Mantrailing)
- Air Scenting/Area Search
- Tracking/Trailing
- HRD (Human Remains Detection)
- Disaster - live and recovery
ATV Unit

Mission Statement
The ATV Unit offers trained ATV volunteers for ground search and rescue operations in support of the Kent County SAR, RACES, and other law enforcement agencies. The ATV Unit encompasses all manner of ORV vehicles.- 4x4
